The poodles good-natured personality is one reason the poodle is so popular. Many owners marvel about the human qualities of their poodle.
Colors
The Poodle comes in a variety of colors, from many shades of solid colors to Parti-Poodles, consisting of two or three colors and Phantom Poodles, a dog with markings similar to a Doberman Pinscher.
Sizes
The Standard, Miniature, and Toy Poodle are not separate breeds, they are three different sizes of one breed.
History
Some speculate the Poodle could be the original Water Spaniel, and possibly one of the oldest dog breeds still around today.
